Dear loyal readers,Out of the two years that we have been open, Jassim, Abdullah and I (The Munch partners) have never been in a gathering together where Munch has catered! Until this weekend.. and thank god that the boys were there!
As the story unveils itself thru the pictures you will understand how grateful we were to have "the boys" around!
So 10pm the Munch van is leaving the catering to get some more plates, and next you thing you know, Diction the driver drives on to the soft sand in the beach and gets the car stuck! Thank god Jassim has a 4 wheel drive and rope to tow that he recently got from Shuwaikh to pull cars out.. Smart thinking J. Above Jassim is attaching the rope to our van and his jeep!
Abdullah and Jassim jump in to the car, and begin to pull the car out!
To our luck.. the rope tears on one side..then we try again..and the rope tears on the other side... after re -tying the rope 6 times and having it tear at difrent ends.. we finally get the car to budge a bit!
Now the rope is almost too short to tie it anymore.. so the boys get dirty..Look at them push with all thier efforts! But still nothing..the car is still stuck!
Now poor Mahmood, get's on all four and digs away! Which ends up helping.. so the car moves back 30cm.. Still another 3 meters to go till the car is out of the soft sand!
Then Mahmood brings in the wood sheet to help support the tires.. ooh and they deflated the tires a bit (not sure why they did that exactly)!
After about 30-40 minutes of struggling.. Jassim gives in and tells us that he has super natural powers and can pull the car out himself... And he did.. you should have seen his muscles popping out of his shirt.. his veins throbbing.. his heart pumping..and a big manly scream comes out of his mouth.. and the car is out! Thank you J again!
So now the rope is tied to tight and we can't open it.. so Fahed starts to cut it on one end..
And burn it on the other end...pheeeew! What a long night it was.. the Munch van was out.. and thank god all the partners were there to help.. actually I just took pictures:)

Any way morel of this story: Don't buy this yellow rope tow cars if you see it in Shuwaik.. it sucks!

Jassim I promised you that I will get you a new one:) This time a steel rope:)
What an event! I can't wait until your next adventure! I hope it includes a non-fatal fire with a few hot firemen drenched in some Munch pink sauce+mushrooms.
Hahahahahha mafjoo3a.. maybe one of our BBQ's will start a non fatel fire by mistake this weekend!
Does that mean the boys in this post are not hot enough? :)
