Did you know that Aunt Jemima never exsited, she was just an actress working for a flourmill that packaged there leftover flour in to ready pancake mix! Invented in 1889, it was the first ready mix food to be sold commercially.
Above you see the first image, which was considered very racisit, so in the 50's the changed the face of Aunt Jemima, slimmed her up, got rid of the hair band, and added some earings!
