Yesterday I was lucky to be invited to a Christmas dinner who had ordered from Munch.. (So excited)

I really loved the way the table was set up and the presentation, and since my camera is always in my bag, I jumped to the opportunity to take a few shots!

This Pizza is starting to become a favorite of mine.. But beware, it was a roasted garlic paste tucked away under all those mushroom..

Load and loads of Portebello, brown and white Mushrooms combined with Camembert and Asiago cheese. A true winner!

Instead of a tomato sauce, we got a yummy mango chutney going on the base, and topped with chunks of Tandoori chicken and crunchy white onions and some cooling mint..

Now, these guy are not to be taken lightly...they are flavor packed, mouth watering and recommended only for the serious pizza lovers!

What I love about Thia rice papers, is that it basically can hold together loose ingrediants and turn them in to finger food or canapes.. kind of like a grape vine leaf does to a Dolma but without the oil or cooking needed.

It's extreamly light, very healthy, and refreshing.. You can ask for any of our salads to be turned in to salad rolls for a catering event...

Simple tables!

These beautiful couches you see above, and wonderfull plexi tables are from our friends at November Boutique. As you can see, we didn't want to over crowd that tabel so we put a simple cheese tray a bread basket and some vegetable root chips and dip!

If you have a party and just want some nibbles to put on the table, give us a call and we can create a fun package for you:)

What to choose?

I love this shot! Very colorful and so many choices on the tray.
What you see is a all the mini tarts in the middle, mushroom and goat cheese, sun dried tomato and pesto, and caramelized onion tarts!
On the 2nd inner circle is eggplant on Irani bread with pomegranate reduction.
Last but not least, on the outer circle is crunchy Hummus on filo..

So I haven't been posting much this week because we had a event full week at Munch...as you can see, we were asked to cater for a engagement party! It was fun to play around with different presentations...you decide what you like most!

Time to meet the partners!

I don't think we have ever posted a picture of the three amigos. I also thought it was about time I introduced you to my partners in Munch.

On my left is Abdullah Al Awadi, a 25 year old who is the chief of staff of Dr. Aseel al Awadi in the Parliament. So he actually followed his dreams, a graduate of International Relations and continued to work in his field. He's also the youngest working person in the Parliament I think.
Abdullah you should get a picture with Ahmed Sa'adoun, oldest and youngest in Parliament so we can post it:)

To my right is Jassim al Qamis, a 28 year old marketing guru. You got a idea? Run it by Jassim and he makes it 10 times better, or "sexier" as he likes to put it.
Jassim like myself are both Political Science majors, and are currently doing the opposite of our studies. Jassim is head PR/Marketing in Wataniya Airways.. so who knows maybe he might give us free tickets one day:)

Jassim, Abdullah and I, go way back, we were students together in the States. But what created this great bond was Al Wihda, a student political party that we were all a part of and ended up running for the National Union of Kuwaiti Students elections and winning!

So we worked well together as a team 7 years ago, and continued to work together till this day:)

Now before we opened Munch we had a thousand idea's, but this one is the only one that surfaced. Yallah boys, time to hit the drawing boards again and get cracking on some new ventures.

So there you have it.. Abdullah, Dana and Jassim.. the three amigos:)

Reuse 3.0 @ Avenus mall

Yesterday we were lucky enough to be asked to cater our yummy juices to the Reuse exhibition which is taking place in the Avenues till tomorrow the 12th.

If you have not seen it or heard about it, it's worth the time to pass by and see how talented some of our students, architects, and companies have become in creating awareness and recycling items to turn them in to furniture, or art pieces.

I was very proud and impressed to have the honer to be apart of such a great cause.

And I would like to encourage our readers to drop by the Avenue's. Reuse is located in the parking area D9 of the avenue's mall.

Mix it up!

So since it was all about recycled and reused objects that get turned in to furniture or works of art, we thought to our selves"obviously we can't use plastic cups and throw them away! It would be against the whole concept" So we served each juice in a diffrent kind of glass/cups!

Munch goes Pink!

What was once lime green is now Pink.. let this be the tip of the day:)
